The ask
As Fintel expanded, it was critical for them to assess the technical robustness of the companies they were acquiring. Ensuring technical due diligence is an essential step in mergers and acquisitions, confirming that a prospective acquisition’s systems, practices, and infrastructure are secure, scalable, and in line with best practices. By conducting technical due diligence, businesses can identify potential risks, compliance issues, or system inefficiencies that may affect long-term viability, security, and integration.
What we did
Answer Digital was engaged to perform a comprehensive technical due diligence assessment for Fintel’s acquisitions, producing a detailed report on the strengths, weaknesses, and potential risks associated with each target. This report served as a structured 'snag list', meticulously itemising issues in order of priority to guide Fintel’s acquisition strategy and integration plan.
