Team Spotlight: Christina Grant — Celebrating 5 Years at Answer Digital
This month, we're raising a virtual toast to Christina Grant, who’s celebrating five brilliant years at Answer Digital. From leading complex healthcare programmes to quietly impressing us with her barbershop singing skills (more on that later), Christina is a perfect example of what happens when passion meets purpose.
How would you describe your job in three words?
Order from chaos.
Christina’s journey through Answer
Over the past five years, Christina has tackled a wide range of impactful projects—many at the cutting edge of digital health innovation. Just a few highlights:
- Real-time Covid ‘Test and Trace’ monitoring
- Discovery work into AI applications in breast cancer research
- Exploring virtual monitoring tools for patients at home
- Regional system procurement to support NHS transformation
- Most recently: delivering digitally integrated Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) with InHealth
Her roles have ranged from two-week sprints to two-year deep-dives—and in between, she’s helped shape internal tools and supported the leadership of our growing Delivery Manager community.
A proud milestone?
“I was honoured to win the Rockstar Consultant award at Answer’s 2024 celebration. But honestly, the proudest moments are often the quiet ones—when clients you admire give really positive feedback or when you realise the work is making a real difference.”
What’s the best thing about your team?
Whether she’s flying solo on a client site or collaborating across Answer’s Delivery Leads, Christina values passion, camaraderie and purpose. At InHealth, she’s the only Answer person on the ground, but is surrounded by people who genuinely care about reducing diagnostic backlogs and improving patient care.
Back at Answer, she’s part of a close-knit Delivery Lead community: “We’ve all got different strengths—and we show up for each other, always.”
Getting to know Christina
What’s the most unusual job you’ve ever had before this one?
“In sixth form, my maths teacher paid me to mark homework for her younger classes—not exactly Ofsted-approved, but great pocket money! I’ve also recorded a jingle for a Yorkshire Handmade Pies radio ad with my barbershop quartet.”
What’s your favourite place you’ve travelled to?
“The Outer Hebrides, hands down. They’ve got the most stunning landscapes and beaches I’ve ever seen. I also loved the fjords in New Zealand—especially Doubtful Sound. Remote spots with great wild swimming? Count me in.”
How do you like to spend your spare time?
“I’m a singer-songwriter and love making music—either solo or with friends. I’m also big into wild swimming, paddle-boarding and making things with my hands.”
If you could swap jobs with anyone for a day?
“As a kid, I wanted to be the first female Archbishop of Canterbury. Later, I aimed for Prime Minister. So… probably one of those. Just to see what it’s really like!”
Looking ahead
In 2025, Christina’s got her sights set on programme and account leadership—a new challenge that will stretch her strategic thinking and commercial awareness. Outside of work, she’s halfway through writing a song cycle inspired by Harry Potter characters (one a month!).
Christina, thank you for everything you bring to Answer. Here’s to the next chapter of growth, music, and leadership—with a bit of wild swimming thrown in.
