This summer, we took a giant leap forward in our green journey, and we're excited to tell you about it.

Going green-er in the heart of Leeds

Our home is The Mill, a brilliant space in the heart of Leeds. We love this city, and we’re passionate about building a business that contributes to its future. So, when the time came to take our sustainability efforts to the next level, we looked right up at our own roof.

The answer was right there, shining down on us: the sun.

We installed 74 brand-new solar panels to the roof of our building. This wasn’t just about making our own space more efficient; it was about taking action that could make a real, tangible difference.

What being ‘Power Positive’ actually means

We're not just green—we're "green-er."

Our goal was to generate enough clean energy to power our office. We’re thrilled to say that, based on the data we’ve captured so far, we are offsetting our power consumption by 100%. That’s a huge win in itself, but it's only half the story.

Because of the amount of energy our solar panels are generating, we’re now officially power positive.

What does that actually mean?

→ We're generating more clean electricity than our office needs to run.

→ That extra, un-used power is sent straight back to the National Grid.

→ This surplus energy helps power homes and businesses in our local community.

It’s a powerful step forward, one that lets us actively contribute to a more sustainable energy system in Leeds and the wider North.

From promise to progress

This milestone is a huge moment for us, a tangible demonstration of our commitment to doing the right thing in the right way. It’s a move that's about more than just numbers on a report; it's about making a positive impact that extends beyond our own front door.
