This month, we’re celebrating Chris’ one-year anniversary at Answer Digital! Not only does this mark a full year of exciting projects and professional growth, but it also means Chris officially becomes a member of our Employee Trust—a huge congratulations is in order!

Let’s take a moment to learn more about Chris, his journey, and some of his interests outside of work.

Chris’ role in three words

When asked to describe his job, Chris summed it up as:
Interesting, Evolving, Challenging.

Chris’ journey at Answer Digital

Before joining Answer, Chris spent several years working at an NHS Trust, focusing on EPR configuration. His journey here started when he saw a former colleague share a post about an opportunity at Answer

After a few conversations with the team, he knew it was the right place for the next chapter in his career—and one year later, he’s never looked back!

A career milestone to be proud of

Moving from the public sector (NHS) to the private sector was a huge decision for Chris. Taking that leap and joining Answer Digital is the career milestone he’s most proud of so far.

The best thing about the team

For Chris, the best part of working with his team is how supportive everyone is. Whether it’s problem-solving or learning something new, there’s always someone willing to help and add value to the project.

An unusual job?

Chris doesn’t think he’s ever had an unusual job… unless this one counts! (And honestly, working in tech does come with its fair share of unexpected surprises!)

A favourite travel destination

Chris has traveled to some amazing places, but Norway tops the list. His trip in November last year took him to Tromsø, Oslo, and Bergen, where he got to witness the Northern Lights (twice!), orcas, and stunning fjords. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A surprising fun fact

Chris is a huge history nerd! He studied Medieval History in college and is especially interested in England between the 11th and 15th centuries. (If you need a history book recommendation, he’s your guy!)

How Chris spends his spare time

Outside of work, Chris keeps busy with a mix of:
🎵 Traveling & going to music gigs
⚽ Watching football (Arsenal fan through and through!)
🏃‍♂️ Running
📖 Reading (mostly medieval history books!)
🍳 Cooking—he’s no chef, but always up for learning new recipes!

A dream job for a day

If he could swap jobs with anyone for a day, Chris would choose Mikel Arteta, Arsenal’s manager. As a lifelong Arsenal fan, he’d love to see what goes on behind the scenes in running a football club.

Biggest goal for 2025

This year, Chris and his girlfriend are planning to move in together—his biggest personal goal is making that happen without any major issues!

From helping transform healthcare technology to exploring medieval history and mastering new recipes, Chris brings a unique mix of expertise, curiosity, and enthusiasm to Answer Digital.
