As we welcome a new year and prepare to embark on a new charity partnership, we want to take a moment to celebrate and reflect on our incredible 2024 partnership with Martin House Children’s Hospice. Over the last 12 months, it has been a privilege to work alongside such a meaningful organisation, raising over £8,000 to support their vital mission.

What Martin House does

Martin House provides hospice care and support for children and young people with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families, across Yorkshire. Their work goes far beyond medical care, they create a space where families can spend precious time together, making memories and finding comfort during incredibly challenging times. From music therapy sessions to emergency care and meals for families, Martin House’s wraparound services ensure that every family member receives the support they need.

"The £8,000 raised by Answer Digital supports families in so many ways. It provides seven days of hot meals for families—something many never experience together. It enables families to spend quality time together, participate in music sessions, and access the wraparound care that supports not just the child but the entire family."

This work reminds us of the little things that many of us take for granted and how deeply those things can matter to families navigating such difficult journeys.

Highlights of our year of giving

Throughout 2024, our team rallied behind Martin House through a variety of fundraising activities, demonstrating creativity, community spirit, and a shared passion for making a difference.

Highlights include:

Raffling off old technology: This initiative raised funds while promoting sustainability, giving our unused tech a second life.

The Big Sleep Out: In October, members of our team braved the cold to raise awareness and funds for families supported by Martin House.

Answer Bake Off: A deliciously fun way to bring the team together, hone our culinary skills, and contribute to a great cause.

Each activity, big or small, played a role in achieving our £8,096 fundraising total, helping to make a tangible difference in the lives of the families Martin House supports.

Partnering with Martin House has been an honour. The dedication and impact of their team inspire us, and we are proud to have contributed to their incredible work. As we move into 2025 and begin a new chapter with a different charity partner, we carry with us the lessons and inspiration from this partnership.
