Celebrating 10 Years of Talent: a decade of success at the Answer Academy
Established in September 2014, the Answer Academy was created as a pathway for graduates and career chargers to break into the tech industry, and today, we’re proud to say that it has become a cornerstone of our success.
Harnessing homegrown talent
At Answer, we believe that our people are our greatest asset. As an employee-owned company, we take pride in cultivating homegrown talent, and the Academy is at the heart of this mission.
Over the past 10 years, the Academy has welcomed 80 participants, with half of our current workforce being Academy graduates. These individuals have not only gained the technical skills needed to excel in their roles but have also developed the crucial soft skills, such as presenting and communicating, that are vital for success as a consultant.
The journey through the Academy is challenging but rewarding. It is an intensive 12 week programme intending for all participants to graduate at the 12 week point and start working on projects. A new Academite will start at level 0 and has the opportunity to progress through the company, all the way to Principal level (level 5), with plenty of support along the way. Regular check-ins, career mentoring, and a focus on continuous development ensure that every individual has the opportunity to grow and succeed.

As Kash, one of our Senior Developers and an Academy mentor, shared, “The magic of the Academy is seeing people fresh out of university grow into confident, skilled professionals who add so much value to Answer.” Stories like Kash’s are a true reflection of what the Academy is all about; transforming potential into achievement.

A summer of celebrations
This summer, not only are we celebrating 25 years of Answer Digital, but we also celebrate 10 years of the Answer Academy. Throughout August and September we will be shining a spotlight on the success stories of our many Academites.
We couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved over the past decade, and we know that the best is yet to come.
