The client: Preventx

Preventx is the UK’s leading provider of sexual health testing services, with operations spanning the UK and the Netherlands. Trusted by the NHS and private providers alike, Preventx operates its own laboratory and digital platforms to deliver at-home testing services at scale. With rapid growth and new investment, the business needed to modernise its technology foundations to support diversification and expansion into new markets.

The challenge

Preventx’s existing systems were largely home-grown and monolithic. While bespoke development had enabled them to meet specific customer needs and grow quickly, the platform had become increasingly complex.
