Our Recruitment Process

We appreciate that interviews can be daunting, that’s why we’ve published our recruitment process so you know exactly what to expect and how to prepare.

We keep it simple, meaning you can focus on seeing if our people, values and work are right for you - just as much as preparing for the interview.

Our process is designed to give you the chance to see what it’s like to work here, and give us a chance to learn about you and your experience. We’re not going to waste your time, make you jump through hoops or do a dragons den style pitch - we just want to get to know you and see if you’re the right fit, and don’t forget, it’s just as much an opportunity for you to see if we’re right for you too!

What to expect

1. Call with Answer recruiter

This call normally lasts 10-15 minutes. We will talk about Answer, the type of work we do and an overview of the role. We’ll also ask you some questions about your current situation; what do you know about us, why you’re looking to work here.

This is a great time to ask any “People” questions; anything about our benefits, career progression, attitudes to flexible/hybrid working or anything you feel sits in the world of HR.

2. Technical Interview

This interview will be with 2 people from the Capability your role sits within.

We’ll run through your technical skills and experience. It will also involve technical exercise which our Recruitment Team will give you more information to help you to prepare.

This is a great time to ask questions around what the role involves and the day to day activities of the job.

3. Final Interview

This interview will be with 2 people from the leadership team.

The interview will focus heavily on our culture and values. Why do you want to work here? How do you like to work and how do you engage with people?

This is a great time to ask questions around our business model, our ambitious growth plans and anything to do with our long term strategy.
